grey-sweatpants asked: I have just recently stumbled upon your page, and I must say that as a fellow Indonesian I am quite impressed with what you've done with it! As I am currently studying stateside, your pictures and anecdotes of our home truly describe what it means to have Indonesian pride. Fantastic work. PS, dying to go back to Batu Karas in June for a solid surf!

Anonymous asked: 6 years ago, I moved to Jakarta and lived there for 2 years as an expat. I just recently found this blog, and I started crying because it brought back so many memories. I have been to many of the places in these pictures, and even though I have not been to Indonesia for 4 years, I can still remember the astounding beauty of the country. Thank you so much.
